For the Holiday weekend we went to my honey's family cabin. On the drive up I thought I would take some pictures. Well nothing to really get excited over until we saw a man taking some pictures of something and we pulled over and it was a moose. Now this makes the whole trip worth while. You see for me the moose is thee greatest animal alive. I LOVE them. And not only did I see the one at the side of the road, but as we were walking along the path around the lake look who jumped right out in front of us.
He scared me to death. I think he thought it was funny. He let us take a bunch of pictures. Then he said "Goodbye" and left. What a thrill that was for me. My kids thought it was pretty great too. Which was surprising because they don't get too excited about much. They even let me take their 
picture.
picture. Minus 1 though. He would not even act like he had a family up there because he wanted to hang with cousins. Fine by me, at least he was enjoying the outdoors.
This trip was a lot of fun for everyone who went. We played cards, ate, read, napped, ate, talked, watched it rain, laughed, ate some more and just enjoyed each other. I am grateful for the time we had together.
